Are you setting the integer and doing the addition in the same AL Set Fields action or are you setting the integer from the selection field and then in another action doing the addition?
If you are using only 1 action try breaking it up into 2 separate actions. What would be the alternate? Would I have to create active links that translate the alias value to a number then using an AL guide? Anyone else have any ideas? The alias value is a word and each has a corresponding Selection value and ID which is a number. So High,Med,Low alias values would be 3,2,1 respectively. However, using the mid tier, I get an error: Data types are not appropriate for arithmetic operation (ARERR 9339) Should I be using a different field instead of an integer?
