Senior Systems Administrator with Remedy Experience: Blacksburg, VA Digital Foundation is seeking a Senior System Administrator to be a member of a dynamic team environment to support our customer's mission. This position will be located near Blacksburg, VA. the Position will require the person to have a "SECRET" clearance or the ability to be cleared. Person must also be a US Citizen and pass and pre-screening prior to start date. Roles and Responsibilities: Windows Administrator shall have experience deploying, configuring, maintaining and monitoring computer systems and networks and performing software installations and upgrades. Also we are looking for this candidate to have the ability to assist the BMC Remedy Administrator functions and administration as necessary. Required Skills & Experience: System administration support of Windows environment TCP/IP networks Network and web security Web Server and Directory Server management Experience in maintaining network servers, file servers, VPN gateways, and Intrusion detection systems. Experience working with (VMWare) virtualization technology Strong understanding of secure systems engineering development, including system security requirements analysis, system security requirements allocation, trade-off analysis, other system security analyses, and secure system definition and specification development. Education & Certifications BS degree plus a minimum of ten (5) years of experience Certification in Microsoft Certified professions (MCP) Network + Certification COMPTIA Security + Certification Microsoft Certified System Administrator (MCSA) is a plus Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE) is a plus. ============================= Remedy Developer: (2) Washington DC Area and (1) Aberdeen, MD We are looking Remedy Developer & Administrators with a secret clearance or the ability to be cleared for several projects in various states. Must have a minimum of 3-5 years experience in the developing of the BMC Remedy (ITSM) application. The candidate must have experience in installation, configuration and customization of Remedy 6.x, and have knowledge of the 7.5 and 7.6 application. Must have experience using the BMC ITSM Incident, Asset, Change Management, CMDB and the ability to work with other products as needed. Experience with development of the BMC Remedy application is strongly desired. Experience and the ability to work on multi-server level environments is highly preferred and the ability to administer SQL Server. Candidate should also have strong communication skills both oral and written.
