Frank,

I don't see any '# of failed attempts' counter in the user GUI.but I use
AREA, so I don't use Remedy's password management.might want to check the
docs, they have come a long way since 6.3.

Subject: Tracking Failed Log in Attempts

** ARS 6.3p24

Looking for a way to track the number of times a user has failed
authentication form the Remedy log in dialog. Want to build functionality so
that if the user makes three bad attempts the account is locked. I know if
you are using AD/LDAP integration that it is possible but pretty sure this
cannot be captured from the standard Remedy log in dialog in the user tool.
Not sure if this feature exists in 7.5.

Thank you

Frank
