I do not see why it should not be able to handle 'free services' where the 
price 
is 0.

How would you have a negative price/cost for something? Its like 'Here's my 
goods and I owe you a few dollars for buying them for me.' Doesn't make sense. 

The one exception I can think is waste management or a scrapyard or a 
junkyard - 
that too depending on whose perspective you look at it - these entities offer a 
service - you pay for it..

The cost of owning anything only can increase with time.. Its value is another 
thing..

Subject: Can OOTB AM module handle refunds (i.e. negative Unit Prices)?

All ~ our Purchasing department needs to add line items in the Asset Management 
module for refunds (negative unit prices) or free services (unit price of 0).  
Is this something that the OOTB module can handle or do I need to customize?  
It 
doesn't appear that I can do this, but I don't know if there is some type of 
configuration that I am missing.
