You can't upgrade from a server-OS to a desktop-OS, so your only real choice 
would be to move from Windows 2000 to Windows 2003.

However, if you're going to be upgrading anyway, it may be a good time to 
consider moving up to supported versions of the OS, DB and AR System products.

Hi all,


This is the configuration:


ARS 5.0.102, Patch 1238

Oracle 8.1.7.00

Windows 2000, Patch 4


My customer wants to upgrade the OS from Windows 2000, Patch 4 to a newer 
version (Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows.


Unfortunately i have no compatiblitiy matrix for this old remedy version.

Does anybody of you, which new Windows OS will be accepted by this old stuff.


Can BMC provide me this information ?
