Oracle 11g and ARS 6.3Mark,

I personally haven't used it, but if the client of the compatible Oracle
version can connect to 11g, you should not have a problem if you install
that client on the ARS Server. Try it on a dev machine, use it for a few
days, create different kinds of objects like different types of forms,
different types of fields, workflow objects, etc. and if you notice no
problems, it should not be an issue.

However, note that if you use an unsupported configuration, you might get a
'hands up' kind of approach from BMC Customer Support in the event of a
problem that appears to be a DB related issue..

Can I use an Oracle 11g database with ARS 6.3? Is anyone currently doing
this and if so was it easy/difficult to set up?

  Thanks,
