We are upgrading one of our development server from ARS 7.1.00 Patch 003 and CMDB 2.1 to ARS 7.5 Patch 006 and Atrium Core 7.5 Patch 005. Since we will be maintaining the current 7.0.03 Patch 009 for all the ITSM apps, we need to install the ITSM Atrium Compatibility Patch 7000. I have completed the upgrade of ARS and CMDB to their latest version and patch indicated above -- however, I received an error when installing the compatibility patch:
*The installation of ITSM Atrium Compatibility Patch 7.5.00 failed. The following features failed to install:* *· ITSM Atrium Compatibility Patch* *· Could not install fnd patch* Since I beleive fnd refers to a plugin, I believe I know where the problem is occurring. I had previously commented (#) out the ITSM plugin path due to an error when installing Atrium Core. I removed the comment (#) and restarted the server. Now when I attempt to run the installer for the compatibility patch again, I get the following message and the installer stops: *This ITSM Atrium Compatibility Patch is already loaded on this AR Server.* ** I am not convinced the compatibility patch was installed completly. When I go to the SHARE:Application Properties I only see the following entries related to this compatibility patch: *ITSM Atrium Compatibility Patch Problem Management 7.0.03 Patch 7000* *ITSM Atrium Compatibility Patch Foundation 7.0.03 Patch 7000* Can someone tell me if this is correct? Are there only two entries made to the application properties or did the install fail before everything was loaded? If it did fail before it was all loaded -- does anyone know how to rerun the installer -- successfully bypassing this "already loaded" detection?
