At this time, the Delta Data Migration utilities are available only through BMC professional service engagements. You should contact your BMC representative for more information if you are in short-term need of such service.
Longer term, the inclusion of the tools in the out-of-the-box product is being considered for future releases. The tools put a front end on Migrator that makes it easier to do the delta-data-migration vs. the current Migrator methods. -David J. It looks to be a matter of taking a db copy and restoring to a sandbox environment, running the upgrade, copying the data delta (e.g. new incidents/changes etc) and then restoring the db from the sandbox over production. The webinar doesn't go into nuts and bolts details of when exactly the production application servers are upgraded, or how the delta data is moved from server to server? Our problem will be that we have 3 prod servers to upgrade (AR,CMDB,ITSM,SLM,SRM,Dashboards etc) and limited available downtime. In the test (single server) enviornment the ITSM part of the upgrade alone took over 7 hours. If anyone has any info on this "Delta Data Migration" I would love to hear from them.
