The directory is stored in with attachment name.  If you do a Set Fields to a 
character fields on a form and record with an attachment, you'll see it.

Mid Tier?  I didn't think you can run those processes on the Mid Tier server 
(no client).  They work fine on the ARS server, just use Filters rather than 
Active Links.  Unless you run Remedy on a Windows server, managing directories 
could be tricky.

I'm working on something similar.   Still trying to find a way to trap the
directory the user selects.  Also,  A table loop with those process calls
works via the user tool, but not via the Web client (only drops the last
attachment of the selected list).  It's in that (dare I say it) RFE bucket.
