There are many ways to perform this task. To name a few: 1) perform a cold backup of the database -> copy to new server 2) export/import 3) using data pump 4) using oracle's database creation assistant (DBCA)
My recommendation is, if you are not familiar with these terms/tools. Find a DBA. What version of Oracle are you going from to? -----Original Message----- From: Action Request System discussion list(ARSList) [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of G. And what's the best tool out there to make that feasible quick and easy? ________________________________________________________________________ _______ UNSUBSCRIBE or access ARSlist Archives at www.arslist.org attend wwrug11 www.wwrug.com ARSList: "Where the Answers Are" _______________________________________________________________________________ UNSUBSCRIBE or access ARSlist Archives at www.arslist.org attend wwrug11 www.wwrug.com ARSList: "Where the Answers Are"
