Thanks Fred. The issue was that my data mgmt team hear was doing a DR test scenario in a segregated enviro and wanted me to 'test' it. I couldn't access the application b/c LDAP wasn't authenticating users. All the LDAP parameters were correct. I needed to login to the app as Demo but had miss-placed the password. The issue turned out to be that the domain controller the ARS was doing the LDAP bind to was not setup as a global catalog. After I changed the server the LDAP was talking to ..it worked. Oh, and I also found the Demo password (it was in a very safe place).
Thanks again Fred Marcelo -----Original Message----- From: Action Request System discussion list(ARSList) [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Grooms, Frederick W Sent: Thursday, December 09, 2010 3:19 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: Demo Any user with rights to update User form records should be able to change a password for a user. The password is stored encrypted so you cannot see the existing value. Or where can it be changed in the database?
