To really leverage SSO, ideal setup should be all LDAP auth to happen at Atrium
SSO and all AR users authenticate with Atrium SSO. So you would need to
configure your LDAP at Atrium SSO level. Doing so would have all users on LDAP
leverage SSO.

Thanks Vijai.
One more question. If I already have LDAP authentication setup within AR, do I
still follow the doc as far as setting up the AR Authentication Chain and all
that? If I want to use LDAP authentication, do I select the LDAP options
instead?
Actually, that was more than 1 question. Sorry... :)

Hi Tauf,

You do not have to add any AR users manually. That facility can be used for
adding user in SSO manually though.

Thanks
Vijai

All,
Excuse my ignorance regarding this tool but in the doc, in the Atrium SSO
config tool, there is a section that shows the ability to create Users and
Groups. What is this used for? If I have 1000 users in AR, do I have to add
those 1000 users in this tool? Or is it just a service user that AR users to
communicate with SSO? Thanks in advance.

Hi Vladimir,

Can't say from the mail what you have run into, so I am posting on BMCDN at
following location

http://communities.bmc.com/communities/docs/DOC-12889

a step by step (little too detailed) dev doc for installing and configuring
Atrium SSO. We intend to make it part of regular doc after some modifications.
Please use it and let me know if that helps solve your problems.

Thanks
Vijai

Hi,

Anyone managed to successfully install atriumsso? I've tried it several times
and it always fails with no errors or warnings in the install log. After the
install, I'm able to get to the config page with no apparent issues.
