Has anyone run into the issue in Purchase Requisitions where a $0.00 USD cost Line Item will not allow the Requisition to move beyond the status of Pending Pricing?
I have a customer who I configured Asset Mgmt to their specification, but they failed to mention that they often have $0.00 cost line times. The scenario is that when they order a complex UNIX server they get the price from the vendor for the full unit, but still want to include the individual components into the order to match the Vendors packing slip showing all parts to build out the server listed on the slip showig either the actual value, $0.00 valuse, or INC Besides having the customer get the actual price for each component and build out the PR that way. I was wondering If someone has encountered this issue what path you have taken, if any, to resolve? I have spoke with BMC Support on this issue, and their answer is that this is not a configurable feature of the module, for any version. We both worked to see if we could disable workflow, but this affected the process necessary to manage CIs that depreciate. I am currently on ARS version 7.1.00 Patch 6 ITSM 7.1.00 looking to upgrade soon.
