Gopal: I'm pretty sure recent ITSM versions do not support multiple installs on the same OS instance.
Regardless of whether it would work or not, I'd recommend a separate instance of the OS anyway. I've used database copy/restore in combination with either VM copy or clonezilla copy for the application server in the past with success. This gets the job done quickly. If you choose to copy the application server, contact BMC support to find out the current recommendation for re-running the product installers in order to update the application server host name in the database. These will not be full runs of the installers because the installer will see that the product is already installed, it will only update the configuration in the database.
