I created a test web-service and following worked. It returned a list of 
matching records.

'Parent ID'  LIKE  ( "%"+XPATH(/ROOT/Parent_ID)+"%")

operation, how can I give the below qualification in the XPATH. 

   

'Test' LIKE “%test%”  

   

Can I use the below qualification for the same in web
service / what is the syntax for LIKE query in web services any idea ? 

   

'Test' LIKE XPATH(/ROOT/Test)
