Some data was deleted out of my Asset Mgmt System. I had a restore of he database(product) done and put onto my development server. The Oracle Sid is different since it was restored from production server. I want to change the SID on my dev box so that I can access data and pull out the mising data and put onto production server. I went into the ar.conf file and changed the ORACLE=SID name and rebooted services not the server and when I logged into my dev server and to the Base Element form the data was not there.
Is there someting else I need to change to access this data. My dba checked and it shows over 49000 records. I just can not see in Remedy.
