I had tried that way also.
But the movement I change the setting in ar.cfg  for the line 
Register-With-Portmapper: F. 
I am not able to login to the system it self.

Now the services is not starting at all

Just saw that you have set the same TCP-port for the Plugin server as for
the AR Server, which can not be correct.

If you want to disable the portmapper completely, you need to set
Register-With-Portmapper to F, not T.
