Christopher,
Those are simply reference pointers to the settings of 'Maximum Filters for
an Operation', and 'Maximum Stack of Filters'. The Filter level is telling
you your current location in the stack, your Number of Filters is
referencing Max filters for operation. It is just reference data...I've
never seen where it's documented, but that's what it all means :)

Subject: Question regarding Filter Log entries. Never seen this before

Hello All,

We are seeing some entries show up in our filter logs we have never seen
before and was hoping someone on the list could shed some light as to what
it is, what it means and how we interpret it.

We are seeing entries that reference "Filter Level" and then a value like 0,
1, 2, etc, then the phrase "Number of Filter" followed by a number. We would
really like to know what this is.

Here are some examples of the entries.

< Filter Level:0 Number Of Filters:99> Checking
"GA850-PSH-Update_SLA_Reassign_Flag" (850) <Filter Level:1 Number Of
Filters:225> Checking "GA850-PSH-Update_SLA_Reassign_Flag" (850) <Filter
Level:2 Number Of Filters:749> Checking "GA850-PSH-Update_SLA_Reassign_Flag"
(850) <Filter Level:3 Number Of Filters:834> Checking
"GA850-PSH-Update_SLA_Reassign_Flag" (850) <Filter Level:4 Number Of
Filters:919> Checking "GA850-PSH-Update_SLA_Reassign_Flag" (850)

We can't find any documentation on these anywhere in the ARS guides. We have
searched the KB on BMC site without luck, so hoping to find some answers
here.

We are using ARS v 7.1 patch 11.
