Customer needs to register Status for each one of stored CI's in CMDB, so I was thinking in Status field declared in CDM Model for Base Element Class, that field is named as "AssetLifecycleStatus" (ID Field = 7). So I want to add that field to views for each class customer needs to use. Could be any problem adding that field in CMDB Class Forms? I mean i.e modifying that field value for one CI could trigger an unavailability record. As far as I know all AST: Class Forms are Join forms based in CMDB Class Forms. We're not implementing now Asset Management so our customer can't modify status through AST:Forms. Another question: If I show AssetLifecycleStatus field in BaseElement Form view, will be shown in subclasses? Do I need to add in view for each one of CMDB classes?
