Depends on whether or not you are strictly using the WUT or the MT client..

If you are strictly on WUT, you can easily extract the IP using the DOS command 
ipconfig /all. You would need to do some text manipulation from the output 
using string manipulation functions available in Remedy. I had once posted a 
simple def file that had all this done in a much earlier version of Remedy on 
Gidd’s website at Buoyant solutions.. See if its still around there..

If some of your clients are on MT, you will need to create a JavaScript based 
function that you would need to embed on the form that extracts the client IP 
address..

Good morning everyone. On a Windows-based 6.3 system, is there a way to track 
what IP address a user is logging in from? I don't see it in the User Log.

I know this question has been asked 1000 times. For some reason, I can't search 
the archives.
