You may have issues with missing libraries if the upgrade removes certain
libraries that are needed and replaced them with higher versions.. You'll
need to find out if the upgrade of the OS preserves all old libraries and
just adds new ones..
Do you have a test server to try it on first?

I would like to find out if Remedy 7.0.01 and 7.1.00 is compatible with AIX
6.1? There is an upgrade happening on the operating system from AIX 5.3 to
6.1 and although articles on the web point to Remedy being supported with
the new version of AIX, the AR System 7.1.00 compatibility matrix from BMC
states that the latest AIX version supportable is 5.3.
Any feedback or confirmation would be greatly appreciated.
