More importantly: Hi to everyone at the conference that I didn't get to speak to at the conference last week, I did get to a record 3.4 sessions but I was still swamped with small and big, uhm.. incidents some of which are now problems. I am considering creating a day with no sessions so we can Just catch up with everyone! (just kidding about the no sessions bit).
We are working on both improving the conference, although the reviews so far have been great, And ensuring that our group of 7 volunteer Advisory Board members and the other volunteers (another 12) Are stressed as little as possible. One quick thing; San Jose was futures, don't book your flights yet. The week and location are still subject to change, I am hoping that within a few weeks I will have a signed contract with a hotel and then we can officially announce. Both hotels I am currently reviewing along with the Advisory Board have hosted a RUG before. ......
