We use mailenable POP3 as intermediate incoming email engine. Configure this as outgoing email with IP, port, and username and password setup in mailenable. Google mailenable as its freeware.
For outgoing, you need an active SMTP source of some type, and is allowable via your network routing. Hope this helps....
