Thank you Kelly. WAGs are good too! Before reading your suggestion, I was lucky enough to be able to apply a bandaid by setting the field on window open. But I went back to try your suggestion. I had actually tried your suggestion earlier, and it did not work. But I went back and set that that field to "N" + "/" + "A" and it worked, except that for the first couple of times it put a backslash in, instead of a forward slash. I had tried to use a backslash as an escape character earlier in the week, so I deleted all the cached field defs on the hdd and it started to work the way we would expect. I guess I should have done that as soon as I noticed something weird happening!
