L-3 STRATIS has a great career opportunity for a Remedy Developer to
work with our Remedy Development team who is supporting the FAA Air
Traffic Controller Organization in Oklahoma City, OK.  In this role you
will be supporting one of the largest IT organizations in the United
States as  Remedy Developer and Administrator. 
 
Your day to day activities will include:

- Installing, upgrading, patching, implementing, supporting, and
maintaining the Remedy Action Request System software and monitoring the
performance of the Remedy application servers (software).
- Developing the necessary interfaces, integrations, application
administration, and configuration for the following business
applications:
  - Service Request Management
  - Change Management 
  - Incident and Problem Management 
  - Service Level Management 
  - Asset and Financial Management
-Configuration Management Database
  - Application Administration and Data Management Tool/Wizard
utilization.
  - Coordinates the solution of Remedy system errors with ITS staff and
internal and external technicians.
  - Provides support and user education activities related to the use of
Remedy, including on-call and after-hours support.
  - Handles end user requests for software support communicating via
telephone, web, e-mail, and/or in person.
  - Documents customer contacts in appropriate database as well as
follow-up with customer contact information.
  - Tracks Remedy tickets, providing a proactive approach to customer
service issues and reports trends to ITS teams/departments; performs
other duties as assigned.
 
Qualifications

Required Skills:
- Knowledge of Remedy Action Request System 7.5 and greater
administration.
- Knowledge of Remedy ITSM 7.5 and greater applications.
- Knowledge of Oracle database management and administration.
- Ability to Install and Manage Remedy Servers in a Solaris environment.
- Past experience in Remedy Version level upgrade or migration.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills.
- Initiative and creativity skills.
- Listening, speaking, writing, and interpersonal skills in both
technical and non-technical domains.
- Ability to work in a flexible and cooperative manner in a variety of
situations.
- Ability to work with a team yet work independently with a minimum of
oversight.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment.
 
Preferred Skills:
- Experienced in developing all aspects of Remedy Service Request
Management.
- Experienced in upgrading complex server group environments from one AR
7.5 to AR 7.6 and ITSM 7.6 to 7.6.04.
- Thorough understanding of the Remedy ARS system, specific tools such
as Developer Studio, AR User, AR Import, and Remedy Migrator.
- Understanding of the components of the Remedy ITSM Suite, including
back end forms and workflow.
- Knowledge of Remedy Forms, Active Links, Filters, Escalations, Macros,
Menus, Guides, workflow and other related components.
- Ability to produce technical requirements and design documentation
that describes system requirements, performance criteria, data flows,
and end-user interfaces.
- Should be self-starter with good communication and team-oriented
skills as well as strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Strong work ethic with ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment.

- Ability to translate and communicate complex concepts to peers and
business partners, and to work collaboratively in a virtual team
environment.
