ARS 7.1p5 ITMS 7.0.3p8 SQL Server 2005
Scenario: Create a change ticket using a template that spawns a total of 59 tasks and task groups. When the above is run through the User tool it times out after 2 minutes. The tasks and task groups will eventually get created but it could take 20 minutes. If I run the same scenario using the MidTier the entire process completes in about 14 seconds. The same fast time is seen if I use a web service to create the CM record. Any ideas why the timings would be so different?
