In pluginsvr_config.xml the default port was 9999 but further down in the file
the was set to 1025. In my ar.cfg the only plugin designated as 1025 was
Server-Plugin-Alias: REMEDY.ARF.ITSMUtil REMEDY.ARF.ITSMUtil
NTREMAPB.corp.radioshack.net:1025

I changed the port to 9999 in both files and now everything is working.

Thanks again LJ. It's a good thing that ARSList is here to pick up where BMC
Support fails. They had me chasing security issues on the server. I should have
known at the first of November when I reported the problem to BMC and they
responded with send us filter logs, ar.cfg and armonitor.cfg that this wasn't
going to get resolved by them.

Tommy,
The lines from your cfg there are not the definition of the plugins...that is
done in your pluginsvr\pluginsvr_config.xml config file. That is what tells
your java plugin server to run on what port, what plugins are configured and
such. And you will find the log for that plugin server located at
arserver\db\arjavaplugin.log (or elsewhere, if your cfg file specifies, but
that's the default location)

I am having a hard-to-track-down issue on my Production AR Server. Port 9999 is
not listening but there are no errors in any of my logs saying that the plugin
did not start. Here is the snippet of my ar.cfg that shows that the port should
be active or there should be an error somewhere. My DEV and QA environments are
setup the same as Prod but everything is working there. Server team says that
there is nothing on the server that would not allow that port to be used. All
of the other plugin ports are working fine.
