Joe, Developer Studio does support moving fields around using keyboard. You must first press “.” (period button), this will bring up Move cursor and then you can use your navigation keys to move the field. How much field must be moved can be configured in form preference setting (Windows->Preferences->BMC Remedy Developer Studio->Form) under key “Keyboard Move Step Size”.
If you press “.” key more than once then the cursor will change to “Size” cursor at various points. When you get size cursor using navigation keys you can change the size of the field. The new Studio performs far better than the Admin tool ever did even in the best of its days. I really don’t think I miss much except the moving of fields using the arrow keys by a pixel by holding down the shift key. I’m not sure if that is possible on the Dev Studio as most things I tried using the navigation control keys to replicate that, didn’t work.. But I could live without that..
