I recently used a demo copy of dynaTrace which overlaps some with Fiddler, but
seemed to give a lot better information in terms of what is causing performance
bottlenecks and displaying it in a graphical format. I'd suggest going to
their site and trying the demo to see if it fits your needs. It's not free,
but I seem to recall that it wasn't that expensive.

Thanks,

Subject: best way to benchmark performance of ITSM functionality

**
We're planning an upgrade to 7.6.04 from 7.5 - the main driver is for improved
client performance, namely web client since in 7.6.04 that is all the client
can use.

Can anyone provide any insight on what the best tools / approaches would be for
measuring client web performance of ITSM functionality?

When we moved to 7.5 we investigated using HP QTP but unfortunately our HP
testing professionals found that BMC's web architecture was not conducive to
using our enterprise testing tool compared to other Off The Shelf .Net or java
web applications.
