All, I have setup a new search and reporting server on Remedy 7.6.04 SP2. The server is pointed to an Oracle 11G database that replicates with our production database using dataguard. When I start the reporting ARServer, I get a few errors in the arerror.log file pertaining to dataguard being enabled. When I login via the reporting server mid-tier, my session immediately freezes. The reporting AR Server is effectively non-functional when it points to the dataguard enabled reporting database as the database is essentially read-only. I have excluded the following tables from dataguard:
USER_CACHE FT_PENDING T1620 RLE:Configuration Additionally, I have disabled escalations and alerts in the ar.cfg file and commented out everything but arserver, arplugin, and associated java references in the armonitor.cfg file ... all with no luck. Does anyone have any experience using an Oracle reporting database with dataguard against a search and reporting arserver?
