The consultant will also have the aptitude to lend technical assistance during the analysis, design, and implementation of service desk, for Federal clients. The candidate must have experience and knowledge in deploying core functionality in an out of box CMDB system; including the ability to install the system on at least one server platform and one database. The characteristics of this position include: a working command of technology and architectural concepts; the ability to perform an analysis of client processes; ability to document and develop work flows for system functionality and customization. Upon hire, Windward will provide up to four (4) weeks training to ensure candidates are familiar with and have hands-on exposure to the most recent version of the BC Atrium CMDB product and accompanying modules to support specific client requirements as the majority of the client work will be within the BMC Atrium CMDB product. Position Requirements * Experience integrating with one or more federated data sources preferred. * Familiarity with or ITIL(r) certifications preferred. * Work with client management and staff to integrate the client's business objectives, current technical infrastructure and state of the art technologies into enterprise-wide solutions. * Design and/or assess operational processes for effective enterprise wide network and systems technology management. * Minimum of 5 years experience working with leading vendor products. * US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret level clearance * Prior consulting experience is mandatory * Candidates based in the Washington DC metro area up to 25% travel, outside of the Washington DC metro area up to 75% travel * Degree in CS, EE or related MIS field preferred.
