Hi list, I have been struggling the last couple of days to create an approval process that will require 2 approvals on a designated Service Request.
What I have tried (Preferred); - we are using an approval chain that runs off the SRM_CUSTOM flag, the process it calls is a level process. >From here I have tried to create a couple of new Prep new approver rules which >add + 1 to the level field and populate some values information in the temp char fields. This information is then used to check the SYS:Menu Items form which has a custom menu that has approver login IDs (if second approval required) in the Menu Label 2 field. Using the approval debugging, all rules are performed through the first pass, which adds the first approver. When the rules reprocess they fail and move on to complete. I have also tried creating a secondary approval chain which was called for the first process completing, the issues I had here were a continual loop as the process done rules weren't completing and I didn't have the ability to specify this should only occur on 1 SR. Has anyone created a similar sort of process that they could share their approach? Appreciate any help, Thanks, Brett _______________________________________________________________________________ UNSUBSCRIBE or access ARSlist Archives at www.arslist.org attend wwrug12 www.wwrug12.com ARSList: "Where the Answers Are"
