This would be a customisation though, which we're always trying to avoid.

If changing the status works without affecting anything else then this
config is preferable.

Same for Problem or SLM Service field, the menu qualification do not filter
only the CI-Asset related to the current company..
I suggest to change the menus attached to the Service Field..
