The BMC Administrator Remedy Developer will be a key resource to the Enterprise 
Remedy Team located in Chantilly, Virginia. 

The role is to assist in the development, testing, documenting, deploying and 
maintaining of the BMC Cloud Lifecycle Management (CLM) Protal.  This includes 
building, testing, and deploying workfolows; documenting design, deployment, 
maintenance instructions; and supporting the migration from development to 
production.  Also to provide tier 3 support.

 
The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting installation, 
configuration, testing, support and documentation for a protal centered on the 
BMC CLM.  

Candidate must have experience design and development of BMC CLM suite of 
products and be able to effectvely deploy, develop and support them.  This 
suite of products includes REMEDY, ATRIUM, and BLADELOGIC.  The candidate must 
be proficient in at least one of these products and preferably knowlegeable in 
all.

 

·         3-5 Years recent and continuous experience in the installation, 
development, support of BMC Cloud LifeCycle Management Tools. 

Working knowledge expertise in following areas: Operating Systems- MS/Intel (2k 
and higher);Linux RH5.x; Scripting Languages and Virtualization 
Mnimum of 5 years technical ARS develpment experience. Extensive Remedy 
technical skills including administrative support for Remedy production 
servicrs.  
SPecialized skills in developing forms filters, escalation, active links, 
menus, guides and applications and provide upgrades and application patches to 
Remedy COTS products including ARS 7.x and Mid Tier 
Assist with software upgrades and maintenance upgrades on all Remedy/Web 
servers. 
Assist in configuring and installing Web servers to deploy Web-based access to 
Clients, as well as, web reporting capabilities 
Design, customize and develop custom reports utilizing Crystal Reports and 
Remedy's report writer 
Assist in developing training documentation and help facilitate formal training 
sessions for medium to large groups of users 
·         Troubleshoot issues and defects within the Remedy application

Qualifications: 

6+ Years Experience with BMC Remedy AR System 
6+ Years Experience as a BMC Remedy Consultant 
Remedy Approved Consultant 
Extensive Experience with ITSM Applications 
Extensive Experience with BMC Atrium CMDB 
ITIL Foundation Certified 
Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills 
Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group including executives, 
managers, developers, and subject matter experts 
Ability to convert technical knowledge into easily understood terms 
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills 
Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing 
priorities with enthusiasm 
Ability to work on complex projects with general direction and minimal guidance
