We were / still are planning to leverage the use of SPML to achieve the
integration, unless it is not possible to use those OTB resources because of
compatibility reasons.
I was wondering if anyone has successfully used those OTB resources (web
services) published by OIM using plain and ordinary set field filter actions
that set values from WSDL..

Hello Joe,
We have an integration point with OIM, however we setup the integration
using API. We are using OIM by updating our people form data, as well as
using it for provisioning purposes. For instance we are using the Kinetic
Request system and use OIM to auto provision parts of the request by passing
infomration to OIM and having OIM provision active directory related access.
We also have OIM create the Remedy people profile as well as the
permissions, functional roles, and support group associations.
