I figured it out!  The Company name had a comma in it like "My Company*,*Inc."

I added zzz Company and noticed that the new zzz company worked fine but
the problem child which used to be the last group in the list still had the
problem.  I removed the "!" which didn't do it and then I removed the ","
which then showed the records under the grouping.

Bug identified...
