You could try a set field action reading from the record that is stored in the database
There is also a 'Service' action available, but I'm not sure that's exactly what you're looking for. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Nancy Tietz" <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Friday, May 11, 2012 1:33:58 PM Subject: I think I Need to call a Filter From an Active Link Hi all - I believe I need to be able to trigger a Filter from an Active Link. Why do I want to do that - you ask? Because, only Active Links can detect that the user has opened or closed a window. And, because only Filters can look at what the Server form data is, and act on that. Any ideas? :) I'm on ITSM 7.6.03, on MS SQL Server, Windows. How I got to this conclusion is because my Direct SQL (run from an Active Link) is updating the Server form field, but when I get to the point of Closing the window, that Active Link can't 'see' the Server form field that was updated earlier.
