Hi All,

I have an situation where we are trying to export data from the Remedy tables 
(e.g. T120) though Golden Gate and some records are being rejected because the 
incoming data exceeds the expected field/colmn size.

If I take the character data from field and do a count in MS Word I get 992. 
During the import/export Golden Gate is detecting 1001 characters which exceeds 
to the 1000 character limit set for this field.

I am being told the issue is hidden characters. Has anyone seen this sort of 
thing with Golden Gate or other tools? Is there a way to filter out special 
characters in a field. ALNUM and ALPHA patterns are not an option. Any ideas 
would be greatly appreciated.
