Thank you for the extra information but I was looking to confirm that there are no other levels of permissions within Asset management, something between an Asset Admin and being in a Supported by group.
As an Asset Admin you can do "everything" or if you are an Asset User within a "Supported by" group you have some limited update permissions. We are finding this permission model very limiting. Assets can bounce around different parts of the country and having to keep updating the Supported by group each time the asset moves is a task our end users do not want to handle. The only other choice I see is making them all Asset Admins or modifying underlying ITSM work flow, groups and roles. Has anybody had this same issue? Thank you again.
