Just had to re-open this thread...

I have been quoting Matt on " Fast, Accurate, Cheap.... Pick two " for years 
now, but just found an interesting blog by someone named Brad Neuberg and he 
usess a similar, more elaborate phrase he calls "square of development": 

" features, quality, schedule, cost -- choose 3 "

You guys realize that it is an OLD saying right?  Probably from before 
computers.  Early manufacturing would have probably come up with it.
