I just tried it and it works perfectly fine for me as a saved search.

Are you even prompted? If so you do not put quotes around the date when
entering it in the prompt.

Subject: Predefined Search (Date Parameter)

** Hello List,

I am trying to create a Predefined Search that will prompt the user to input a
Start Date and an End Date. When I do the typical 'Create Date' >= "$Start
Date$" it errors out with "The date format is invalid". Is this even possible
to do as is? Or do I need to create other fields with additional workflow?
Thank you.
