Good morning!

We've had adventures with laptops and videos this morning at WWRUG12,
eventually leading to Simon King's keynote about ITSM v8. Some of Simon's talk
included materials from last week's ITSM announcement (which is still on-line).

V8 includes new features for on-line chat with end users, at first with an
avatar and if needed a live agent, leading to an incident. Mobile clients are
now more fully supported, both for the the Remedy AR System platform products
and other BMC ITSM products.

Installations and upgrades are easier, facilitated with data management tools.
Significant improvements to the end user UI for SRM (on boarding new employees
used as an example).

Remedy on demand.. Continues to gain momentum. ROD expanding with new data
centers, higher availability, applying our own BSM tools to manage our own
service offering.

Trackit for small customers
Footprints and Remedy Force for middle size customers
ITSM on AR platform, both on premise and ROD, for larger enterprise scale
customers

Sneak peak at after v8 for next-gen.... Social interaction, communities of
learning, mobile users will be more prevalent (PC user to we user to mobile
user), recommends checking Chris Dancy's servicesphere.com, cloud management
and cloud provisioned services.

Lovely parting gifts!

Doug
