We are in the process of upgrading ITSM 7.003 to 7.6.04 using the outlined BMC upgrade process, which involves upgrading a staging server. This has been a very painful task. We have experienced countless errors with the installers. Even after the installers come back successful with no errors, we are still finding that the installers did not install all the forms and workflow. So far we have been able to work through or find a resolution path to most of the issues, but it has been painful. Has anyone attempted this upgrade and do you have any lessons learned? If you have attempted this upgrade how long did it take?
