It’s the true beginning of the end of the world…

“There's a box of Twinkies in that grocery store. Not just any box of Twinkies,
the last box of Twinkies that anyone will enjoy in the whole universe. Believe
it or not, Twinkies have an expiration date. Someday very soon, Life's little
Twinkie gauge is gonna go... empty.” – Tallahassee, Zombieland.

Dear Hostess, please don't shut down any plants. Twinkies are the only food
that'll last through a nuclear holocaust. Think of the survivors that'll need
that food to start over and rebuild society.

Sincerely,
Peter Griffin

Hi Claire,

Don't worry it's Friday here in Australia. That story doesn't look all that
humorous though.

I hope Daniel is stockpiling a supply of twinkies for future RUGs in case the
unthinkable happens. I believe they do keep forever after all, particularly if
they aren't used for human consumption.

Tomorrow is Friday. I may or may not be off… so here is my Friday post!

Hostess Brands Inc., the maker of Wonder bread and Twinkies, said it will begin
permanently closing plants unless enough members of its striking bakery
workers’ union cross the picket lines to keep them open.
