hi All, We are trying to setup DSO for User form from Server A to Server B. But it always throws a unique index violation. We have set DSO for people form as well. The need to set DSO for User form is due to the fact that the DSO set on People form will create a User record but will not move the Group List, Application permission or the computed groups to the user form. We have set the DSO mapping for User form as Independent Copy, Over write on duplicate request ID.
Now every time the DSO for People form fires it creates people record as well as the User record for people records with login id but the DSO for user form will not overwrite the User record but instead issue an unique index violation. Am I missing anything here? How do I get the group list to user form? Also the DSO seems to fail to move few records every now and then with error like "No Mapping found for 'FORMNAME' on (Server A) - ()' and wont retry even when the mapping says to retry for ever. We had load balancer above the servers so I thought that was the reason so I removed 1 dedicated server from the load balancer set its ranking form entry to primary for DSO action but still we see the errors and failed DSO transfers in the DSO Pending Errors form. I have to admit that the frequency has reduced a lot since I got out the server from load balancer shadow. I would like to know if there is any sure shot way to ensure that if there is a DSO transfer initiated it till land to destination at any cost I don't mind it taking about an hour or so to do it. Environment details are same for both the servers Source and Destination. ARS 7.5 P4 SQL 2008 R2 Remote. CMDB 7.6 P1 ITSM 7.6 P1 SRM 7.6 P1 SLM 7.6 P1 All windows systems.
