Did you modify your escalation or whatever workflow was pushing to CTM:People to only be fired for a single person? If not, pick an individual to be a test (not you, so you can more easily search for unique information such as login name) and just add 'CN' = "specificusername" to the qualification of your workflow that kicks off the whole thing.
