Maybe not a big deal but I wrote a V B/CrystalReports package that accessed the Remedy database directly thru API, and generated 6 kinds of reports x 70 addressees in 1 hr.. The method recommend 'by others' was to use IMacros/VBscript and emulate keystrokes (notoriously fragile) within the Remedy product - this would have taken over 5 hrs. Would be glad to send code. 571 242 0153. I have only recently run into groups routinely using Remedy API (at IBM, and Sprint/IBM) who would (& did) say "So what?"
