I do not know what Microsoft Ticket Exchange Platform is, but if since it
sounds like it’s a Microsoft product, and you are considering web services,
you might want to dig around to find out if the Microsoft BizTalk server
which is like a orchestrator engine, can do what you might be looking to.
It is web service capable, and I can't comment too much more on it as I have
barely been exposed to it a few months ago from a consumer sort of
standpoint. I could however ask our BizTalk expert if he has heard of what
MS Ticket Exchange Platform and if it is capable to talk to BizTalk.
Atrium Orchestrator might be another option as a middleware, depending on
whether or not it has a suitable adapter for MS TEP (one more acronym as if
the world does not have enough of them)...

Subject: ITSM web service connections to Microsoft TEP?
Hi!
Before I spent the whole weekend, or perhaps the next month, trying to dig
through this, has anyone done any sort of integration between BMC ITSM
Incidents and the Microsoft TP Ticket Exchange Platform that they'd be
willing to share?
Doug
