If you are on 7.6 you do have a form in the system "AR System Metadata:
arschema" that will allow you to look up what form is related to a table #

Eamonn,
Just a simple reminder for you, if you choose to do it.

I've been in situations countless times where I'm not allowed 'direct' access
to the DB...but I realized at the time that I have access to a client that DOES
have direct access...that client being the Remedy server.  With Direct SQL
calls available to you, you could build a simple read only interface to be able
to do custom query work that doesn't involve your dba...works quite
effectively, and works within the constructs of most 'you can't have access'
models.

Thanks for all the help, particularly Dave Reilly of Avnet.
I have refreshed the views when I finally got an answer via the DBA as to what
forms/tables were underlying the views. Separation of function is safer from a
corporate view but it slows down resolving issues.
