(not webadmin) .. but In the cluster, if one jvm or https fails , the other will pick up the traffic. Granted since we are not enabling persistence of any sort, the user will need to relogin (new session); but the outage is minimal. Most importantly, traffic is load balanced between the http server and jvm cluster, with http plugin; so that the jvm in our case is not over worked to put it simple.
Fortunately, this configuration has been working from Ars 6.3 on WebSphere on all on aix when i inherited Remedy; we have had Remedy since I want to say since version 2 or 3. Pascale, Change your login page to a system form, like USER. Let me know if it still redirects. For us it does redirect. BMC suggested this , in attempt to rule out whether our in house login page was corrupted. Will keep you posted.
